At Next Step Coaching and Counseling Services, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive — and every helping professional deserves a career that truly makes a difference.
We provide Intensive In-Community (IIC) therapy, Behavioral Assistant services, Pre-Employment Transition Services, and life coaching for children, adolescents, and families throughout New Jersey — delivered where they live, learn, and grow.

Terrance Johnson, LCSW
Terrance Johnson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder and Managing Partner of Next Step Coaching and Counseling Services. With over a decade of experience in behavioral health, vocational services, and clinical leadership, Terrance built Next Step from the ground up with one mission: give New Jersey youth and families access to high-quality, in-home care delivered right where they live.
