MENTORING

AS A MENTOR YOU WILL :

Empowering youth to resolve current issues and to develop coping strategies for the future
Help develop social interactions with the youth
Be an active listener and offer support and encouragement when appropriate
Acknowledging their strengths, talents, and gifts and encouraging them to find ways to use them

BEHAVIORAL ASSISTANT

AS A BEHAVIORAL ASSISTANT YOU WILL :

Assist youth in strengthening/developing their skills in interpersonal communication
Help develop social interactions with the youth
Help identify and address any behavioral conduct
Help improve or develop coping and adapting mechanisms

INTENSIVE IN-COMMUNITY THERAPIST

AS A INTENSIVE IN-COMMUNITY THERAPIST YOU WILL :

Improving youth and family dynamics and functioning
Preventing/reducing the need for higher-intensity behavioral health or substance use treatment
Preserving a youth’s current residence
Transitioning youth from out–of–home treatment back into the community
Preventing /reducing the need and/or risk for inpatient hospitalization or out-of-home treatment
Applicants must possess either of the following licenses for the State of New Jersey: LCSW, LSW, LPC, LAC, LMFT, LAMFT, or Licensed Psychologist. (Only these New Jersey licenses will be considered for the position of In-Community therapist).

Licensed Outpatient Therapists

Next Step Coaching And Counseling Services is accepting applications for the position of Outpatient Mental Health Therapist:

As an Outpatient Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for providing psychotherapy to individuals aged 4 and up, utilizing a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities. You will also provide psycho-education, negotiation and conflict resolution skill training, effective coping skills development, healthy limit-setting, emotional regulation skills, stress management, self-care, problem-solving skills, and skill-building that enhances self-fulfillment to the youth and their families.
Applicants must possess either of the following licenses for the State of New Jersey: LCSW, LSW, LPC, LAC, LMFT, LAMFT, or Licensed Psychologist. (Only these New Jersey licenses will be considered for this position.)
